Rosalinda Sanchez

Services are scheduled at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 16, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Rosalinda Aguirre Sanchez, 813 S. 4th St., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Sanchez, 41, died Friday, December 12, 2003 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Fr. Richard Lifrak will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ramon Pina, Joey Castillo, Rudy Sanchez, Abel Jaquez, Michael Calderon, and Ray Garcia. Mrs. Sanchez was born June 8,1962 in Sinton, Texas; the daughter of Alejandro Aguirre and Abundia Rodriguez Aguirre. On Sept. 10, 1982 she was married to Jesse Sanchez in Seminole, Texas. She came to Artesia in 1996 from Hobbs, NM. She was a housewife and member of the Catholic church. A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday Our Lady of Grace Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son Michael Aguirre. Survivors include her husband Jesse Sanchez, Sr. of the family home; daughters Venus Aguirre of Artesia, and Stephanie Torres of Rockport, Texas; son Aasin Aguirre of Artesia; step-daughter Jessica Tina Sanchez of Naples, Italy; step-son Jesse Sanchez, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; brothers Alex Aguirre of Skidmore, Texas, and Johnny Aguirre of San Antonio; sisters Victoria Nerios of Sinton, Mickey Aguirre of San Antonio, Sylvia Soto of Hobbs, Elisa Aguirre of Gladewater, Texas, Linda Gonzalez of Sinton, America Aguirre of Sinton, Mary Aguirre of Gilmore, Texas, and Annette Torres of Sinton; grandchildren Federico Huerta of Artesia, Alexia Huerta of Artesia, and Imara Cruz of Naples.
