Rosa Salinas

Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, March 29, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Rosa Luna Salinas, 1802 Pine St., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Salinas, 32, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Father Paul Murtagh SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Martin Palacios, Sam Solis, Robert Solis, Alex Salinas, Joe Salinas, and Kevin Delgado. A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Grace Church. Visitation is taking place at 1906 Maple. Mrs. Salinas was born July 18, 1972 in El Dorado, Texas; the daughter of Robert G. Luna and Corina Garcia Luna. She came to Artesia in 1993 from Texas. On Nov. 3, 1999 she was married to Antonio Salinas in Carlsbad, N.M. She was a Cashier and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband Antonio Salinas of family home; father Robert Luna of San Angelo, Texas; mother Corina Flores of Artesia; daughter Marina Gloria of Artesia; sons John Robert Arispe of Artesia, and Jesus Antonio Salinas of Artesia; brother Michael Galindo of Houston, Texas; sisters Bernice Palacios of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Emily Luna of San Angelo; grandchildren Gabriel Salinas of Artesia, Michael Ray Salinas of Odessa, Texas, Alex Salinas of Artesia, and Robert Anthony Salinas of Artesia.
