Ronny Bartlett

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, at Terpening & Son Chapel for Ronny Dean Bartlett of Artesia, N.M.

Mr. Bartlett, 71, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at his home.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Ronny was born November 10, 1948 in Roswell, N.M. On September 20, 1968 he married Linda Price in Roswell, and the couple came to Artesia in 1969.

Ronny was a diesel mechanic. He worked for Sweatt Construction. He enjoyed camping, water skiing, and race car driving.

Survivors include his son Chad Bartlett and wife Cathy of Artesia; granddaughter Revekah Lynn Bartlett of Artesia; three step-grandchildren, one great-grandson Izaya; a brother Donny Bartlett and wife Carol; sisters Darlene Gay and Regena Genie Hoskins and husband James, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife Linda June Bartlett, a sister Geneva Mathews and brothers Kenneth Bartlett and Johnny Bartlett.
