Mr. Fields, 70, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at his sons home in Lake Arthur, N.M.

Cremation is under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Ronald was born April 5, 1941 in Ironton, Ohio the son of James Wesley Fields and Virginia Louise Halley Fields. He was a longtime California resident until moving in May of 2011 to Lake Arthur.

He was a Master Carpenter. He loved music especially playing the guitar.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his sons Tracy Fields and wife Jennifer of Lake Arthur, Marty Fields and wife Diana of Lebonon, Oregon, and Jason Dodge of California daughters Paige Knowles and husband Richard of Holly, Oregon, Tammy Sartuche and husband Mike of Lebonon, and DeAnna Stone and husband Richard of Aromas, CA grandchildren Julia and Jacob Fields, Justin and Jordan Knowles, Mike, Jr. and Amber Sartuche, Stephanie Carpenter, Brandon Stone, and Brandy StoneEllis and husband Jake and greatgrandchildren including Joel, Jovia, Mya Slover.
