Robert Rager

Memorial services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Sep. 5, at St. Anthonys Catholic Church for Robert Christopher Rager, of Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Rager, 49, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at his home.

Fr. Paul Murtagh SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Lower Hope Cemetery, Hope, New Mexico.

Mr. Rager was born December 24, 1960 in El Paso, Texas the son of Ed Smith and Jeanette McCallick Smith.

He was a Radio Promotions and Marketing Director.

He was preceded in death by his father, and stepfather Robert E. Lee of Hope, N.M.

Survivors include his mother, former Artesia resident, Jeanette Lee of El Campo, Texas sisters Kandy Haldeman and husband Charles of Artesia, and Wendy Jones and husband Bobby of El Campo nephew Casey Haldeman of Artesia nieces Amber Jones Scott of Amarillo, Texas, Kailee Jones of El Campo, and Tiegan Jones of El Campo.
