POn Dec. 30, 1951 he was married to Betty Nell Grant in Loving, N.M. She preceded him in death Jan. 22, 1989.
PHe married Elaine S. Wright on June 4, 1992 in Mayhill, N.M.
PHe was a lifelong Cottonwood area resident and retired farmer. He was an active member and elder of First Presbyterian Church where he became a member in 1958.
PMr. Needham was also preceded in death by his parents and by nine brothers and sisters.
PSurvivors include his wife Elaine Needham of the family home children Nellie Needham Carr of Houston, Texas, Nancy Jo Bleier Roger of Sitka, Alaska, Christine Marie Wright of Cheyenne, Wyo., Ann Sudderth John of Anchorage, Alaksa, and Fred Wright Susan of Cloudcroft, N.M. a sister Phyllis Sallee of Artesia grandchildren Betty Ann Carr, James Robert Carr, Eric Wright, Emily Wright, Ethan Wright, Josh Sudderth, and Sam Sudderth and a greatgranddaughter Kyndall Wright.
