Robert Lugo

Services are scheduled at 9:30 am. Wednesday, July 16, at Our Lady of Grace Church for Robert L. Lugo, 404 W. Cleveland Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Lugo, 62, died Friday, July 11, 2008 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Fr. Paul Murtagh SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Lugo, Christopher Lugo, Gabriel L. Serrano, Daniel Molina, Michael Farmer, and Ralph Moore. A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Mr. Lugo was born June 8, 1946 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Victoriano H. Lugo and Irena Lara Lugo. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia. He worked in maintenance for Calcot Compress and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include brothers Juan Lugo and wife Sylvia of Artesia, and Thomas Lugo and wife Rita of Tucson, Arizona; sisters Esperanza Lugo of Artesia, Luisa Lugo of Artesia, and Priscilla Serrano and husband Joe of Artesia; numerous nieces and nephews.
