Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Artesia, NM for Robert Valverde IV of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Mr. Valverde, 35, died Monday, May 19, 2014 in Albuquerque.

Fr. Martin Cornejo will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Baxely, Cody Champion, David Gallardo, Billy Wike, Max Vasquez Emiliano Gerardo and Richard Valverde.

Robert was born December 15, 1978 in Santa Cruz, California, the son of Robert G. Valverde III and Suzanne Romero.

On February 27, 2009 he was married to Veronica Wright in Artesia.

He was a set builder for IATSE 480. He enjoyed street racing, Bruce Lee, fitness, guns, his animals and loved his wife.

Survivors include his wife Veronica Valverde of Albuquerque father Robert Valverde III and wife Justina of Artesia mother Suzanne Romero of Albquerque brother Richard Valverde of Artesia sisters Celeste Pettine of Albquerque, Vanessa Valverde of Artesia, Sasha Valverde of Lubbock, Texas, Justina Osborne of Artesia, and Niki McNamera of Alaska grandparents Robert and Cecilia Valverde of Artesia uncle Manuel Romero of Gilroy, Calif. numerous nieces and nephews.
