Robert Hnulik

Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 1, at First United Methodist Church for Robert Ellis Hnulik, R221 N. 13th St., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Hnulik, 69, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Artesia General Hospital. Rev. Don Johnston will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dallas Hnulik, Casey Fitzgerald, Ty Hnulik, Robert Shane Hnulik, Burke Headrick and James Matthews. Robert was born February 3, 1938 in Carlsbad, New Mexico; the son of John Ellis Hnulik and Bertha Mae Norwood Hnulik. He was a lifelong area resident. He was a farmer and horseman. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, Horse Breeders Association and many other Horse Associations, at one time had a world champion Appaloosa stallion. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Betty Shaw. Survivors include son Bobby Hnulik of Artesia; daughter Cheree A. Fitzgerald of Sonora, Texas; 5 grandchildren Casey D. Fitzgerald, Megan Headrick, Dallas Hnulik, Ty Hnulik and Robert Shane Hnulik.
