Robert Hernandez

Funeral services are scheduled for 9:00 AM, Friday, September 15, 2023, at Victory Life Fellowship for Robert Soto Hernandez of Artesia, New Mexico.

Robert Hernandez was 50 years old. He passed away on August 30, 2023, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.

Alex Hernandez will officiate at the services. Burial will follow the services at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Judah Hernandez, Hector Hernandez, Hector Hernandez Jr., Bobby Hnulik, Malachi DeLaRosa, Salome Gurrola.

Visitation will be at Victory Life Fellowship from 1pm - 7pm, September 14.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Rachel Soto and brother Ernie Soto Hernandez. He is survived by Father Gonzalo Hernandez, Brothers' Hector Hernandez, Gonzalo Eduardo Soto Hernandez and Henry Soto Hernandez.

Robert was born July 10, 1973, in Las Crusies NM to Gonzalo Hernandaz and Rachel Soto. He was raised here in Artesia NM with his mother and four other brothers. Robert had gotten his GED growing up and was working in carpentry alongside his brother Hector. He was very handy, always helping people out. When he was giving materials or other things from his job, he already had someone in mind he could help out with it. Robert knew a lot of people and was loved by many. He had a laugh and smile that would put a smile on your face. He had a good heart despite it all. All of Roberts family say he was their favorite Tio, always joking around or saying the funniest things. He loved his kids and was and always will be loved by them too. Robert will be dearly missed by many! God bless his soul.
