Robert Goad

Memorial services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 29, at Faith Baptist Church for Robert Lee Goad of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Goad, 69, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Robby Ballew will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Robert was born July 3, 1946 in Fairview, NM; the son of Martha (Goad). He was a longtime resident of Artesia.

He served in the United States Army.

He was a Civil Engineer, a graduate of Espanola High School and International Correspondence School and a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sister Mary Goad of Artesia; uncle Herman Goad of Espanola, NM; cousins Margaret Goad of Ojo Caliente, NM, Emily Goad of Velarde, NM, Shirley Archuleta of Tierra Amarilla, NM and Sharon Rowe of Bellevue, WA.
