Robert Combs

Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 22 at First Baptist Church for Robert A. Combs of Artesia.

Mr. Combs, 59, died Monday, November 17, 2014 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

There will also be visitation on Friday, November 21 at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Pastor John Hinze will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Combs, Paul Dunbar, Cody Combs, Brad Combs, Drew Jordan, Michael Combs, Tyler Jordan, Jason Anaya and Jordan Hinze.

Robert was born September 5, 1955 in Fletcher, NC the son of Walter E. Combs and Frances Manna Combs. He came to Artesia in 1964 from Orange, TX.

On January 25, 1975 he was married to Beth Jordan in Artesia, NM.

He was the OwnerOperator of Bobs Auto Body. He was of Baptist denomination and a member of the Artesia Car Enthusiasts.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothersinlaw Bryan and Kent Jordan.

Survivors include his wife Beth Combs of Artesia sons Robert Combs and wife Gabi of Roswell, NM, Chris Combs and wife Kimberly of Artesia and Adam Combs and wife Shaunda of Lubbock, TX brothers Ben Combs of Crowley, TX, James Combs of Artesia, Larry Combs of Artesia and Gary Combs of Levelland, TX grandchildren Lauren, Maisy and Martin parentsinlaw Lonnie and Roedean Jordan of Artesia.
