Services are scheduled at 9:30 AM. Wednesday, February 11, at Our Lady of Grace Church for Robert L. Calderon, 7322 Roswell Hwy. Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Calderon, 43, died Saturday, February 7, 2004 at his home in Artesia. Fr. Benedict Folger SS. CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Manuel Calderon, Jose Luis Baeza, Mike Garthwaite, Ramon Calderon, Tony Lopez, and Mark Calderon. Honorary pallbearers will be all friends and relatives. Mr. Calderon was born December 16, 1960 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Guillermo Calderon and Maria Lopez Calderon. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia. He was a Contract Pumper in the Oil Field, and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday Our Lady of Grace Church. He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and a nephew. Survivors include his mother Maria Calderon of Artesia; brothers John Calderon of Artesia, Ramon Calderon of Artesia, Jimmy Calderon of Artesia, Raul Calderon of Artesia, Manuel Calderon of Artesia, Joe Calderon of Artesia, and Martin Calderon of Artesia; sister Minnie Calderon of Artesia; adopted brothers Tony Lopez of Artesia, Alonzo Lopez of Artesia, and Eli Loya of Artesia; adopted grandfather Don Scarborough of Artesia; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
