Richard Mckean

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 28, at Woodbine Cemetery for Richard C. McKean, 708 James Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Fr. Benedict Folger will officiate at the services. Mr. McKean, 75, died Sunday, July 25, 2004 at his home. Mr. McKean was born January 29, 1929 in Merkel, Texas; the son of Clyde McKean and Cora Sloan McKean. He was a longtime Artesia resident. He served in the Army during Korea. He was a Roustabout in the oil field. Survivors include 1 brother-in-law D.A. Tyler of Las Cruces, N.M.; nephews Stanley Tyler of Las Cruces, and Wade Tyler of Las Cruces; caregivers George Chase, Jose and Rosemary Gallegos, Lupe and Maria Hernandez.
