Ricardo Lopez

Services are scheduled at 4:00 P.M. Friday, Jan. 13, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Ricardo Garcia Lopez, 814 N. 7th St., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Lopez, 53, died Saturday, January 7, 2012 in Artesia.

Visitation will be at Our Lady of Grace Church beginning at 1 p.m. Friday. A rosary is also scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Ricardo was born November 5, 1958 in Artesia, New Mexico the son of Florencio Lopez and Seferina Garcia Lopez. He came to Artesia in lifelong resident.

He worked in construction with New Mexico State Highway Dept. and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Beatrice Lopez, and a nephew Lawrence Albert Lopez.

Survivors include brothers Florencio Lopez Jr. of Artesia, Arturo Lopez of Las Cruces, NM. Robert Lopez and wife Maribel of Artesia, Albert Lopez and wife Donna of Artesia, and Hans Goller and wife Elsie of Rot, Germany sisters Viola McHaney and husband Ricardo of Artesia, and Senaida Lopez of Artesia numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
