Ricardo DeHoyos

It is with deep sadness that our brother Ricardo DeHoyos Jr. passed away on July 22, 2023 the age of 71.

A graveside service will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Park on Thursday, July 27 at 10 a.m. Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary on Wednesday from 2 to 6 pm.

Ricardo was born on April 30, 1952. He graduated from Artesia High School in 1971 and was a former Artesia State Football Champion. After many years being a farm laborer for many local farmers, later in life he made a transition to the oil field and worked for a contractor at Marathon.

He will be remembered by his family, Lily Flores, Tommy DeHoyos, David

DeHoyos, Lucy Gallegos, Ramona Haskins, Lupe Doporto, Rudy DeHoyos, Delma Salsberry, Danny DeHoyos, Albert DeHoyos, Diana Lathrop and numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by our parents Ricardo and Refugia DeHoyos and sister Rita Winters.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Bonnie, Camille, Lisa, and Rochelle McIntire and her staff, Davita Staff, San Pedro Nursing Staff and PRN Transportation for their care and compassion they expressed to our brother.
