Regina Casabonne

Regina Joyce Casabonne gained her wings on August 17, 2024, at White Sands Nursing Home in Hobbs, New Mexico. Cremation will take place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Regina was born to Paulette Talley Casabonne and John Larry Casabonne on November 4, 1968, in Artesia New Mexico.

Regina grew up running wild on her grandparents' ranch west of Hope, NM. She was always laughing and enjoyed the ranch life. She was an honor roll student who graduated a year early. She also participated in 4H and FFA. She loved her grandparents and siblings with all her heart.

Regina is proceeded in death by her grandparents, Johnny and Nellie(Lange) Casabonne. Her brothers John Dewayne Casabonne and Paul Julian Casabonne, Her aunt Linda Bowman and her father John Larry Casabonne.

Survivors include her mother Paulette Casabonne(Talley). Her sister Melinda Casabonne Jones(Randall). Her children John Michael Wood and LyKala Wood. Three grandchildren Kaylan, Caliber and Jaxtyn. Her nieces and nephews Christy Jones, Brian Jones, Austin Jones, Dylan Jones and Elyssa Jones. Madison Reeves(Casabonne), Mikaela Thedford, Paul Julian Casabonne JR, Maycee Casabonne, Chelsee Casabonne, and Alana Casabonne. Her cousin Kim Henderson Kitchens- who loved and cared for her dearly and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial will be held Saturday, August 24th at 5:00PM at the Best Western Pecos Inn Lounge.
