Graveside services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 14, at Woodbine Cemetery for Reba Murrill, 2209 W. Briscoe Ave., Artesia, New Mexico.
Mrs. Murrill, 76, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Artesia General Hospital.
Rev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Taylor, Kyle Taylor, Domingo Pando, Austin Brown, J.W. Loffler, Lex Klein, Timmy Klein, Johnny Klein, Jeff Klein, and all of her many acquaintances.
Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Reba was born February 19, 1936 in Pangburn, Arkansas the daughter of William Raymond Burns and Leda Mae Smith Burns.
On April 15, 1955 she was married to Jim Murrill in Carlsbad, NM. They came to Artesia in 1965 from Carlsbad.
She was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church, and a lifetime member and had held the office of Treasurer with the Artesia D.O.E.S. 45.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Jim Murrill of Artesia sons James Greg Murrill and wife Donna of Hobbs, N.M., and Gary Murrill and wife Andrea of Midland, Texas sisters Betty Klein and husband A.A. of Artesia, and Linda Thayer and husband Sonny of Carlsbad 6 grandchildren Tiffany and Domingo Pando of Midland, Kendra Murrill and Kyle Taylor of Edmond, Oklahoma, Kali and Chad Taylor of Hobbs, Gauge Murrill of Hobbs, Candace and J.W. Loffler of Midland, Megan and Austin Brown of Houston, Texas, and Lexi Blair of Midland 5 greatgrandchildren Mika Pando, Hadley Pando, Jet Taylor, Mason Loffler, Cambry Loffler, and a Brownie in the oven.
Memorial contributions may be made to the D.O.E.S Scholarship fund or charity of choice.
