Reba Bussa

Graveside services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Woodbine Cemetery for Reba Maurine Bussa, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Bussa, 97, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013 in Artesia.

Joseph Tillery will officiate at the service.

Reba was born November 11, 1915 in Franklin, Texas the daughter of John McCormick and Leda Gladney McCormick. She came to Artesia in April 1970 from Levelland, Texas.

On May 4, 1935 she was married to V.G. Hap Bussa in Franklin, Texas. He preceded her in death June 3, 1990.

She was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church, Eastern Star, and was a Sunday School teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, 3 sisters and a niece.


Survivors include daughters Tanya Bussa of Artesia, and Renee Bussa of Artesia daughterinlaw Geneva Bussa of Converse, Texas 3 grandchildren, 4 greatgrandchildren and 2 greatgreatgrandchildren a niece and a nephew.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Childrens Home or charity of choice.
