Memorial services are scheduled at 5:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Centre Avenue Baptist Church for Raymond Lee Trueblood of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mr. Trueblood, 75, died Monday, November 19, 2012 at his home.
Pastor Kenneth Heck will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.
Raymond was born February 21, 1939 in Salem, Indiana the son of Russell Trueblood and Mary Chastain Trueblood. He came to Artesia in 1978 from Northern New Mexico.
On Nov. 10, 1960 he was married to Rebecca Martinez in El Mirage, Arizona.
He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam War.
Raymond came to Artesia in 1978 from Northern New Mexico. He was a long haul truck driver and a member of Centre Ave. Baptist Church. He also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents two sisters one brother one granddaughter and one grandson.
Survivors include his wife Rebecca Trueblood of the family home daughters Rosalie Galvan and husband Richard of Artesia, Rebecca Guiterrez and husband Sammy of Artesia, and Ruby Najar and husband Phillip of Artesia sons Robert Trueblood of Teague, Texas, and Raymond Roy Trueblood of Seboyeta, New Mexico brothers Paul Trueblood of Indiana, Richard Trueblood of Arizona, and Warren Trueblood of Oklahoma sisters Sue Hurst of Idaho, and Alice Romero of Arizona half brother Roy Russell Trueblood of Bedford, Indiana half sisters Teresa Wall of Gallant, Alabama and Sherrie Trueblood of Alabama 13 grandchildren and 27 greatgrandchildren.
