Raymond Fabre

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May. 29, at Terpening & Son Chapel for Raymond Isidro Fabre of Artesia.

Mr. Fabre, 67, died Monday, May 25, 2015 at Yoakum County Hospital in Denver City, Texas.

Cremation has taken place under direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Raymond was born September 17, 1947 in Yauco, Puerto Rico; the son of Isidro Fabre and Eloina (Martinez) Fabre. He came to Artesia in 1979 from Morristown NJ.

On Sept. 4, 1971 he was married to Dolores Algarra in Morristown, NJ.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He worked in law enforcement, serving for both the Police and Sheriff offices. He was a member of D.A.V., American Legion, P.V.A., and Vietnam Veterans Association. .

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Joe Fabre.

Survivors include his wife Delores Fabre of Artesia; daughters Yvonne Menefee of Artesia and Jennifer Keim and husband Randy of Carlsbad, NM; a brother Angelo Fabre of Puerto Rico; grandchildren Dakota Knowlton, Erika Knowlton, Logan Menefee, Kandace Menefee, Ryan Keim and Duece Keim.
