Raul Acosta

Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 30, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Raul V. Acosta, 1355 Meadowlark Lane SE Apt 227, Rio Rancho, New Mexico. A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Grace Church. Mr. Acosta, 74, died Monday, September 27, 2004 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Fr. Paul Murtagh 55CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Mr. Acosta was born December 8, 1929 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Jesus Acosta and Tomasa Villanueva Acosta. In 1953 he was married to Arcenia Prudenico in Artesia. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia. She preceded him in death Jan. 20, 1998. He was a ranch foreman and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Survivors include son Raul Acosta and wife Van Le Acosta of Rio Rancho, N.M.; daughters Margaret Acosta of Artesia, and Patricia Acosta of Artesia; three grandchildren.
