Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 2, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Raquel Trevizo, 308 Gage, Artesia, New Mexico. PMr. Trevizo, 94, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Artesia General Hospital. PFr. Richard Lifrak SS. CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sergio Segura, Rubin Segura, Mario Segura, Victor Murro, Gilbert Murro, and Martin Segura. PA rosary is also scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Grace. Visitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary beginning at 10:00 a.m. Thursday. PMr. Trevizo was born October 19, 1911 in Santa Barbara de Tutuaco, Chihuahua, Mexico; the son of Jesus Maria Trevizo and Carmen Quezada Trevizo. POn Sept. 24, 1932 he was married to Serafina Gutierrez in Santa Rosalia de cu. He came to Artesia in 1980 from Chihuahua, Mexico. PHe was a ranch hand and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He was Mayor of Tutuaco, Mexico for 4 years.
Survivors include wife, Serefina Trevizo of the family home; six daughters, Ramona Florez and husband Jesus of Chihuahua, Mexico, Carmen Serna and husband Juan of Fort Worth, Texas, Delia Aguirre and husband Jasinto of Chihuahua, Mexico, Rosa E. Segura and husband Dulcen N. of Artesia, Julieta Murro and husband Gilberto of Mexicali Baha, California, Matilde Novarro and husband Alberto of Fort Worth, Texas; four sisters, Esther Rodriguez, Beatriz Gomez, Angelica Romero, and Lidia Garcia; 48 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Manuel Trevizo, a daughter, Maclovia Trevizo, four brothers, Elios, David, Jesus, and Eliazar Trevizo, 3 sisters Amada Marriquez, Elavira Quezada, and Celia Gutierrez.
