Ramon Aguilar

A graveside service for Ramon Marquez Aguilar will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Woodbine Cemetery.

Ramon, 68, passed away on April 2, 2025, in Artesia, NM. He was born on June 3, 1956, to Pedro and Rosa (Marquez) Aguilar in Artesia, NM.

He loved to play guitar in his high school days and worked many years in the oilfield wireline industry. His daughters remember him fostering their curiosity about the world and sparking an interest in science and engineering.

Ramon is preceded in death by his father, Pedro J. Aguilar, and brothers, Ruben M. Aguilar and Pedro M. Aguilar Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Valerie Aguilar and Heather Aguilar; mother, Rosa Aguilar; sisters, Olga Aguilar (Joy), Connie Esquibel (Ricky) and Lori Ordonez (Saul); sister-in-law, Juanita Aguilar; nephews, nieces and extended family members.
