Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday, October 3, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, for Phil Aguilar Jr., 40 Jerry Drive, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Aguilar, 48, died Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at his home. A rosary will be at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10:00 a.m. Thursday. Phil has left us to join his beloved brothers Nick and Levi banana Aguilar, to sit in God's presence and talk about good old times that left us behind will keep dear in our hearts until we are all together again. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, going on country cruise, and especially hanging out with his grandson. In his waiting list to join God and Phil is his precious wife of 25 years Mary Aguilar of the home; his beloved son Andrew Aguilar; his lovely daughters Jamie Aguilar and Esther Coakley of the home; and his biggest love of all his grandson Dimitrius Romero which in the last days of his life was his pride and joy and comfort. Also left behind to celebrate his life is his parents Filoramino and Bennie Aguilar of Espanola, N.M. who loved him to no end; sisters Lorraine and husband Charles of Guthrie, Oklahoma and Lenora Aguilar and companion Ramon Fong of Chamita; also nephew Newly Aguilar and niece Elizabeth Aguilar that Phil helped raise; sister-in-law Vasti Martinez of Rio Rancho; and dearest to his heart Ricky Barros friend and brother from Herendez; 17 nieces and nephews and 14 grandnephews and nieces. Pallbearers will be Newly Aguilar, L.W. Aguilar, Ramon Fong, Adrian Williams, Anthony Alvarado, Adan Alvarado, Ricky Barros and Eric Grado.
