Peter Bieker

Services are scheduled at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 11, at St. Anthonys Catholic Church for Pete Bieker, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Bieker, 89, died Monday, January 6, 2003 at his home. Fr. Benedict Folger will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Bieker was born December 8, 1913 in Gorham, Kansas; the son of Andrew Bieker and Rosa Dreher Bieker. On July 27,1990 he was married to Agnes E. Schulz in Denver, Colorado. He came to Artesia in 1991 from Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a diesel mechanic and member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church, and the Teamsters Union. He was preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers, 4 sisters, a son, 3 daughters, and a qreat-grandson. Survivors include his wife Agnes E. Bieker of the family home; sons Andrew J. Bieker and wife June of Cozahome, Arkansas, Ronald P. Bieker and wife Rebecca of Las Vegas, Nevada, Richard A. Schulz and wife Deanne of Artesia, and Mark D. Schulz and wife Tamie of Grand Junction, Colo.; daughters L. Jill Price and husband Drue of Kingman, Arizona, and Becky A Womenberg and husband Jerry of Denver; brother Barney Bieker of Brighton, Colo.; sisters Adeline Bieker-Schmidt of Sante Fe Springs, Calif., and Irene Bieker-Keller of Westminster, Colo.; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
