Pedro Aguilar, Jr.

Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Monday, January 31, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Pedro M. Aguilar, Jr., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Aguilar, 40, died Thursday, January 27, 2005 in Artesia. Fr. Richard Lifrak SS. CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Lake Arthur Cemetery in Lake Arthur, N.M. All BJ Services employees have been designated as honorary pallbearers. A vigil service is also planned for 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Our Lady of Grace. Visitation at Terpening Son Mortuary will begin at 2:00 P.M. Sunday. Mr. Aguilar was born February 24, 1964 in Artesia; the son of Pedro M. Aguilar, Sr. and Rosa Marquez Aguilar. On August 10, 1984 he was married to Juanita Montoya in Artesia. He was an equipment operator for BJ Services Company and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father Pedro Aguilar on Sept. 20, 2000. Survivors include his wife Juanita Aguilar, son Pedro M. Aguilar, III, and daughter Ashley Nichole Aguilar all of the family home; his mother Rosa M. Aguilar of Artesia; brothers Ruben Aguilar of Artesia and Ramon Aguilar of Artesia; sisters Olga Aguilar of Santa Barbara, Calif., Connie Esquibel of Artesia, and Lori Ordonez of Dexter, N.M.; and numerous nieces nephews.
