Private family memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, for Pauline Goodwin Reynolds, 65 E. Blevins Rd., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Reynolds, 77, died Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Artesia Good Samaritan Center. Cremation under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary has taken place. Cremains will be scattered in Hawaii at a later date. Mrs. Reynolds was born December 13, 1928 in Cement, Oklahoma; the daughter of George T. Goodwin and Lilly May Lindsay Goodwin. She came to Artesia in 1984 from Albuquerque, NM. She was a Mountain Bell Computer Operator in the Toll Investigations Division. She was raised in the Masonic Childrens Home in Guthrie Oklahoma. She attended Bethel Baptist Church, was a member of Rainbow, Rebeccah of Masonic Lodge, past-President of Communication Workers of America, member Women's Bowling Congress and enjoyed the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Judy Goodwin Abbot. Survivors include sons Michael D. Reynolds of Santa Maria, Calif., and Kenny P. Reynolds of Cloudcroft, N.M.; daughter Patty Green and husband Gary of Artesia; sister Kathy Murillo and husband Dave of Reno, Nevada; brother Bill Goodwin of Hobbs, N.M.; grandsons Sean M. Reynolds of Albuquerque, N.M., Stephen M. Reynolds of Albuquerque, and Robyn G. Green of Artesia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Artesia Good Samaritan Center, 1402 Gilchrist Ave., Artesia, New Mexico 88210.
