Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May. 13, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Pauline Edith Polly Morris of Georgetown, Georgia.
Mrs. Morris, 86, died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Regency Towers Condominiums in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Rev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services.
Polly was born June 15, 1924 in Cullman, Alabama the daughter of William P. Foust and Nora Edith Jackson Foust. She was a longtime Artesia resident before moving to Georgia.
In 1941 she was married to Marshall B. Morris in Artesia, New Mexico. He preceded her in death May 23, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.
Polly was a homemaker and an active member of the First Baptist Church for many years. She was a stayathome mom and devoted her life to her husband and children.
Polly has no more pain or weakness, she has moved to her new heavenly home. She will now get to enjoy her reward God has provided.
Survivors include her sons Richard B. Morris and wife Lydelle of Georgetown, and Dr. Charles F. Morris and wife Barbara of Eugene, Oregon brothers Hubert Foust of Graham, Texas, and Virgil Foust of Prattville, Alabama sister Vera Tennant of Artesia, N.M. grandchildren Anne Marie Gault and husband Rob of Wetumpka, Alabama, Sherri Ewing and husband Chris of Birmingham, Alabama, Eric Morris and wife Kim of Madison, Alabama, Barry Morris and wife Jamie of Destin, Florida, Shelley Begines and husband Mark of Eugene, and Justin Morris and wife Amy of Portland, Oregon greatgrandchildren Austin and Ashley Gault Jackson and Cameron Ewing Lathan, McKinley, and Maddie Morris and Madison and Kaitlyn Begines.
