Paula Dominguez

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Paula Ramirez Dominguez of Artesia, New Mexico. PMrs. Dominguez, 82, died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the Artesia Good Samaritan Center. PFr. Paul Murtagh SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nakia Chavez, Joshua Chavez, Javier Dominguez, Joey Duran, Steven Mahan, and Angelo Lujan. PVisitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m. A prayer service will be at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Friday at 6:30 p.m. PMrs. Dominguez was born June 29, 1925 in Redford, Texas; the daughter of Domingo Ramirez and Geronima Moreno Ramirez. PIn 1946 she was married to David Dominguez in Artesia. She came to Artesia in 1933 from Texas. PShe was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. PPaula was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband David Dominguez of family home; son Jaime Dominguez and wife Anna of Artesia; daughters Estella Acosta and husband Joe of San Antonio, Texas, Malia Dominguez of Navarre, Florida, Rosa Oropesa and husband Toby of Roswell, N.M., and Dora Duran and husband Joe of Los Lunas, N.M.; sisters Manuela Verdoza of Phoenix, Arizona, Nancy Barron of Phoenix, Gloria Ramirez of Phoenix, Belia Ramirez of Idaho, and Delia Ramirez of Phoenix; brothers Jose Ramirez of Artesia, and Daniel Ramirez of Roswell; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Her family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the staff at the Good Samaritan Center who's professional, loving and compassionate care made our mother's last days comfortable and peaceful.
