Patrick Odell

No services are planned for Patrick E. Odell, 1502 Yucca Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Odell, 65, died Saturday, May 4, 2002 at Artesia General Hospital. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Odell was born April 15, 1937 in Minneapolis, Minnesota; the son of Earl W. Odell and Elsie Wudel Odell. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He came to Artesia in April of 1999 from Milwaukie, Oregon. On April 29, 2002 he was married to Nancy Baker in Reno, Nevada. He was an insurance agent for Allstate Insurance Company; retiring in 1997. Mr. Odell was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Nancy Odell of the family home; daughters Kelly McIntyre and husband Jim of Gresham, Oregon, Megan Broughton and husband Dave and Kerry Vriethoff and husband Joe all of Portland, Oregon; a sister Carol Stuber and husband Marvin of Garibaldi, Oregon; a brother Bob Odell and wife Beverly of Portland; three stepdaughters; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
