Patricia Perez

Services are scheduled at 5:00 PM Saturday, Jun. 13, at Faith Baptist Church for Patricia Ann Perez of Artesia.

Mrs. Perez, 61, died Saturday, June 6, 2015 at her home.

Pastor Michael Elliott will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Patricia was born September 9, 1953 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of Emilio S. Gonzales and Rachel (Alaniz) Gonzales. She was a lifelong Artesia resident.

On Jan. 27, 1973 she was married to Ruben J. Perez in Artesia, NM. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2012.

She was a Training Technician for FLETC, a member of Faith Baptist Church and was involved in Habitat for Humanity.

She was preceded in death by her father

Survivors include her mother Rachel Gonzales of Artesia; sons Nick Perez of Artesia and Jason Perez of Artesia; daughter Michelle Anaya of Odessa, TX; brother Emilio Gonzales Jr. of Artesia; sisters Lina Smith of Santa Fe, NM, Rosemary Barrera of Artesia, Nancy Jimenez of Rio Rancho, NM, Debbie Juarez of Artesia, Cathy Moor of Artesia; Christi Gonzales of Artesia; grandchildren Aaron Anaya and Matthew Anaya; and numerous nieces and nephews.
