Patricia Dudley

A memorial service is scheduled for 10 am Saturday, February 11 at Terpening & Son Chapel for Patricia Ann Dudley of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Dudley, 66, departed this world and landed in the arms of Jesus on February 1, 2023 in Artesia. Her husband Jeff and favorite dog Bella were by her side.

Dickey Townley will officiate at the services. Cremation will take place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Patty, also known as "Hotrod" by those closest to her, was born on April 6, 1956 in Artesia; the daughter of Clayton Lyles and Patsy Cooley Lyles.

On August 8, 1997, she was married to Jeff Dudley & gained two bonus children she always considered her own. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting, spending time with her family, and her dog Bella. Patty was the kindest, most gentle spirit you'd meet, and ever the peacekeeper of the family. She loved family more than anything.

She was preceded in death by her father, whom she loved dearly.

Survivors include her husband Jeff Dudley; mother Patsy Lyles; brothers Lonnie Lyles & Owen Lyles; sons Jamey Bratcher and Jason Bratcher; step children Tyler Dudley & wife Haley and Danessa Dudley Grayford & husband James; grandchildren Kacie Bratcher, Karie Bratcher, Noah Bratcher, Abby Bratcher, Mykah Vaughn, Ryker Vaughn, and Cohen Dudley; She was also survived by 2 great-grandchildren and numerous neices and nephews.
