Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 21, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Patricia Patsy Ann Bowen, 1603 Northgate, Artesia, N.M. PPatsy died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. PRev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the service. Visitation at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. PPatricia Patsy Ann Bowen was born July 11, 1936, in Gainesville, Texas; the daughter of Jimmy Lewis May and Johnnie Lee Savage May. PShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles W. Bowen; and a brother-in-law John Paden. She was a lifelong area resident and lived and worked in Roswell for 22 years. Mrs. Bowen retired from Eastern New Mexico Hospital in May, 2006. PPatricia Patsy will be greatly missed by all of her friends and family. She loved to be with family and friends and was full of humor and laughter. She was an artist, and talented in various forms of art. She loved the simple things in life and found joy in visiting the ocean, or being with family, especially her grandchildren, and was known for making the best hamburger in town.
Survivors include her sons Patrick Bowen and his wife Terri of Artesia, Nathan Bowen of Roswell, and Murray Andrew Bowen of Ruidoso; sisters Peggy Bush, Deanna Holder, Glenna Wall, Jenny Forlines, and Debra Paden, all of Artesia; six grandchildren Aaron Bowen and his wife Tori, of Artesia, Jared Bowen of Artesia, Cara Galindo and her husband Marcelino, of Artesia; Nathan A. Bowen, of Wetumpka, Alabama, and Joshua Bowen and Haley Bowen of Ruidoso; 3 great-grandchildren Fallon Bowen, Cash Bowen and Gabriella Galindo all of Artesia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
