Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Pascuala Granado of Artesia, New Mexico. PMrs. Granado, 84, died Friday, May 22, 2009 at Casa Maria Nursing Center in Roswell, New Mexico. PFr. Brian Guerrini SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews. PVisitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary Tuesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. A rosary will be at Our Lady of Grace Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. PMrs. Granado was born April 23, 1925 in Grand Falls, Texas; the daughter of Cipriano Granado and Consuelo Delao Granado. PShe came to Artesia in 1945 from Presidio, Texas. PPascuala was a housekeeper for the Artesia General Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, and the San Jose Committee. She enjoyed playing bingo, was active at the Artesia Senior Center, and loved her family. PShe was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Saturnino Acosta, and Francis Granado; and a sister Marie Cortez.
Survivors include her brothers Salvador Granado and wife Arcelia of Atoka, N.M., and Jose Granado and wife Eusebia of Artesia; sisters Belen Marquez and husband Jose of Espanola, N.M., and Magdelena Montoya and husband Dennis of Espanola; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
