Services are scheduled at 10 am Friday, May 28, at Terpening & Son Chapel for Pamela Kay Brown of Maljamar, New Mexico.
Mrs. Brown,64, died on May 26, 2021 at her home.
Burial will follow the services at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Clowe, Joby Sallee, Robbie Miller, Leslie Noack, Raymond Mathews, Wesley Kelsey, and Morgan Brown.
Pamela was born on July 2, 1956 in Carlsbad, New Mexico; the daughter of Don Darnell and Ethel Corbett Darnell. She was a longtime resident of the Artesia area.
She was married to Rufus Brown on March 31, 1973 in Carlsbad, N.M.
She attended Maljamar Baptist Church, loved to cook and everyone who knew her called her Big Mom.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Rufus of the family home; a daughter Angie Derrick and husband Ronny of Artesia; a son Brandon Brown and wife Brenda of Capitan, N.M.;
grandchildren A'Lia Hibbard and husband Joe, Conager Derrick, Bryanna Parker, and Brian Taylor; a great-grandson Dawson Lloyd Hibbard.
