Graveside services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at Woodbine Cemetery for Orthell Ray Kinnibrugh, 6 Garnet Lane, Artesia, New Mexico.
Mr. Kinnibrugh, 82, died, January 2, 2013 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.
Leslie Hendricks will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery.
A reception for all family and friends will be held immediately following the graveside at West Main Baptist Church.
Orthell was born May 29, 1930 in Vera, Texas the son of Roy Kinnibrugh and Melissa Thurman Kinnibrugh. He came to Artesia in 1943 from Texas.
On he was married to Joan Buchanan March 11, 1950 in Carlsbad, N.M. She preceded him in death on November 8, 1999. He then married Dorothy Wall in June, 2001 in Dexter, N.M.
He founded OK Hot Oil Service in 1980. He loved the outdoors, loved his dog, was a hard worker, loved to dance and keeping life simple.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy Kinnibrugh of Artesia sons Randy Kinnibrugh and wife Shawn of Artesia, Arvin Kinnibrugh and wife Susan of Artesia, and Tracy Kinnibrugh and wife Tammy of Artesia daughters Debra Sallee of Artesia, and Becky Crockett and husband Richie of Artesia brothers Dorthell Kinnibrugh and wife Faye of Leander, Texas and Kenny Kinnibrugh of Liberty Hill, Texas 12 grandchildren Kelly, Keith, Chris, Cole, Cody, Toby, Chad, Caleb, Jake, Jessie, Destry, and Shelbi 17 greatgrandchildren stepdaughter Tonya Beauchamp of Artesia 2 stepgrandchildren Drew and Jared numerous nieces, nephews and cousins brotherinlaw Danny Wall of Artesia sistersinlaw Norma Buchanan of Las Cruces, NM, and Maxine Buchanan of Denver, Colorado.
