Ora Bartlett

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at West Main Baptist Church for Ora Jeannie Bartlett, 506 S. 12th St., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Bartlett, 54, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at Artesia General Hospital.

Don Johnston and Jason Kraft will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Larry Troublefield, Larry Troublefield Jr., Chad Bartlett, Billy Bob Lewis, Jimmy Jorren, Hunter Bartlett, Jimmy Maxwell and Randy Buck. Honorary pallbearers will be the 6 Pack Girls Ronda Maxwell, Verna Stuart, Barbara Hunter, Marilynn Mann and Candy Murphy Wilson.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Bartlett was born February 28, 1957 in Artesia, New Mexico the daughter of Aubrey Joe Bartlett and Mary Jean Buck Bartlett.

She was a longtime Artesia resident. She was a homemaker and stayed home taking care of her granddaughter Hailey. Several years ago she was a bartender in Bacliff, Texas and also at the Moose Lodge in Artesia. She was a member of the Baptist Denomination.

Survivors include husband Roland Vennebush of Artesia parents Sonny and Cookie Bartlett of Artesia son Michael Shane Towler of Artesia daughter Queena Ann Mitcham of Houston, Texas 4 granddaughters Hailey Jean Towler, Aryanna Sanford, Elexus Jankowski and Breckley Gray numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
