Odessa Tucker

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2016 at Woodbine Cemetery for Odessa Marie Tucker.

Mrs. Tucker, 75, went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at GoodLife Senior Living, Artesia, NM

Pastor Kenneth C. Heck will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be the grandsons.

Mrs. Tucker was born in Otis, NM, the daughter of Winston Wayne Starr and Virginia (Davis) Starr. She was a longtime resident of the area.

On December 14, 1957 she was married to Conrid Eugene (Arkie) Tucker in Lovington, NM. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2005.

Mrs. Tucker was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, and a Great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of the Centre Avenue Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Her family was her most precious treasure.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors Include daughters Anita Shannon and husband Mike, Genia Hickey and husband Montie, Diane Davis and husband Dennis all of Artesia. Three brothers,
Cactus Starr and wife Sharon of Artesia, NM, Auston Starr of T or C, NM, and Sam Starr and his wife Roberta of San Jose, California. Her grandchildren, Jonathan Shannon
and wife Rachelle, Josh Shannon and wife Alicia, Ryan Hickey, Brandon Davis and wife Tashia, Kimberly Rodriguez and husband Jonathan, Jarrod Davis and Montana all of Artesia.
She had 9 great-grandchildren.
