Norma Emmons

Graveside services are scheduled at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 21, at Woodbine Cemetery for Norma Fay Dixie Emmons, 11744 Jennifer, El Paso, Texas. Mrs. Emmons, 86, died Saturday, November 17, 2007 in El Paso. Rev. David Grousnick will officiate at the services. Mrs. Emmons was born August 30, 1921 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of Alfred Marion Vandagriff and Nellie Young Vandagriff. On April 10, 1944 she was married to Earl Emmons in Artesia. She was a longtime Artesia resident. He preceded her in death Jan. 17, 1978. She was a homemaker and member of First Christian Church. Survivors include nieces and nephews Marcia Green of Albuquerque, N.M., Ron Vandagriff of El Paso, Ken Vandagriff of El Paso, Doug Vandagriff of Albuquerque, Jim Vandagriff of Houston, Texas, Shirley Houston of Farmington, N.M., and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews
