Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Norma Jean Towler Bristow.
Mrs. Bristow, 82, died on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Artesia, N.M.
Jason Kraft will officiate at the services.
Norma was born on May 25, 1934 in Duncan, Oklahoma; the daughter of Thomas Lee Towler and Leosia Hossier.
She was married to Jimmy Dale Bristow on July 25, 1949 in Pecos, Texas. They came to Artesia in November of 1955 from Carlsbad, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and four sisters.
Norma was a housewife and a member of West Main Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters Gwenetta Morgan and husband Carl of Mayhill, N.M. and Kay Roark and husband John of Artesia; sons Dale Bristow of Artesia and Randy Bristow and wife Shelly of Artesia; sisters Lou Stephens of Oklahoma, Johnnie Knight of Texas, Oletta Mask of Roswell and Estelle Russell of Roswell; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grand-children and 4 great-great-grand-children.
The family has requested memorial contributions be made to C.A.S.A, Packs of Love, or any other children's charity of choice.
