Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 21, at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for Nicolasa M. Lopez, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Lopez, 74, died Monday, October 17, 2005 at her home. Pastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Lopez, Alonzo Lopez, Adolfo Lopez, Martin Lopez, Arthur De Leon, and Steven Hernandez. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning Thursday at 10:00 A.M. Mrs. Lopez was born October 10, 1931 in Zacatecas, Mexico; the daughter of Mercedes Morales and Salome Moreno Morales. In 1949 she was married to Antonio Lopez in Mexico. She came to Artesia in 1949 from Mexico. She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Josefina Lopez, 2 brothers, and a sister. Survivors include her husband Antonio Lopez of Hope, N.M.; sons Tony Lopez of Artesia, Alonzo Lopez of Artesia, Adolfo Lopez of Seminole, Texas and Martin Lopez of Artesia; daughters Esperanza Foster of Denver City, Texas, Margarita Lozano of Newark, Texas Frances Luera of Hobbs, N.M., Nolberta Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas, Gracie Lopez of Artesia, and Suzy Wortley of Artesia; brother Estavan Morales of Monterrey, Mexico; sisters Louisa Morales of La Corte, Mexico Antonia Morales of La Corte, Santana Morales of La Corte, and Bralia Morales of La Corte; 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
