Nema Villegas

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Terpening Son Chapel for Nema Villegas, 1009 W. Castleberry Rd., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Villegas, 64, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Artesia General Hospital.

Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Max Villegas, Matthew Villegas, Isaac Coss, Joel Coss, Paco Cera and Armando Perez.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Nema was born February 12, 1948 in Artesia, New Mexico the daughter of Filomeno Huertas and Alejandra Castellano Huertas. She was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

On June 8, 1964 she was married to Maxcimiano P. Villegas in Carlsbad, N.M.. He preceded her in death Nov. 28, 2009.

She was a housewife, loving mother and grandmother. She attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Juan Daniel Villegas, a brother and 2 sisters.

Survivors include a son Maximiliano Villegas and fiance Juliet Salazar of Albuquerque, N.M. daughters Delilah Coss and husband Isaac of Artesia, Naomi Villegas of Artesia, and Rosa Villegas of Artesia grandchildren Isaac Joel Coss, Vanessa Coss, Mariah Villegas, Melanie Villegas, Matthew Villegas, Megan Villegas, Michael Villegas and Johnny Villegas.
