Nedra Cunningham

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 17, at Woodbine Cemetery for Nedra Cunningham of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Cunningham, 86, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Country Cottage Rehabilitation Center in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Rev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mrs. Cunningham was born September 11, 1923 in Pangburn, Arkansas the daughter of Clyde Folkner and Priscilla Wallis Folkner.

She came to Artesia in 1935 from Arkansas. Nedra was married to Aaron Cunningham on Nov. 7, 1945. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist denomination. She was a member of Women of the Moose, and very active at the Senior Citizens Center.

Survivors include her daughters Tannya Helms of Hobbs, and Janie Dunn and husband Randy of Louisiana son Reginald Cunningham of Artesia cousin Patricia Montieth of Artesia 5 grandchildren 16 greatgrandchildren and 2 greatgreatgrandchildren.
