Nancy Searan

Memorial services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, at Clark Memorial United Methodist Church for Nancy H. Searan, of 2216 W. Grand Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Searan, 68, died Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Rev. Jean Riley will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place. Mrs. Searan was born October 21, 1938 in Springfield, Ohio; the daughter of Fred Cornwell. On Dec. 23, 1995 she was married to Michael Searan in Artesia, New Mexico. She came to Artesia 30 years ago. She was a housewife. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Rhonda Weatherford. Survivors include her husband, Michael Searan of family home; a son, James R. Hernandez and wife Rachel of Oklahoma; daughters, Raynell Dinsmoor and Robin English of Artesia; a brother, Fred Cornwell of Arkansas; grandchildren, Samantha and Victoria Padovano of Artesia, Scott English of Roswell, Diane and Jimmy Harvey of Oklahoma, Thomas Harvey of Kentucky, Robert White and wife Janie of Missouri, and Richard Griceo of New Jersey; and a great-grandchild, Savana Harvey.
