Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 21 at Woodbine Cemetery for Mrs. Nancy K. McCaw of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mrs. McCaw, 71, died Monday September 19, 2016 at the Good Life Nursing Facility in Artesia.
Rev. Monty Leavell will officiate at the services.
Nancy was born April 17, 1945 to Ray Boyett and Morine (Withers) Boyett in Gallup, N.M. She was a graduate from Gallup High School and had attended Eastern New Mexico University and the University of New Mexico.
On November 7, 1966 she was married to William "Bill" J. McCaw in Clovis, N.M. They moved to Artesia in 1970 from Portales, N.M.
Nancy was the founding Owner / Operator of the Purple Iris, and an avid Artist. She enjoyed painting and the outdoors and was a former member of the Artesia Arts Council.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Bill McCaw of the family home; son Kerry McCaw of Philadelphia, PA; sister Patty Butt of Roswell, N.M.; sister-in-law Gwen Riddle of College Station, TX; nephews Tige Butt of Albuquerque, N.M. and Neal Riddle of College Station; and a close friend and caregiver Blanca Carrasco of Artesia.
