Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, at St. Anthonys Catholic Church for Nancy Morrison Juarez, 708 N. Roselawn Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Juarez, 60, died Sunday, June 11, 2006 at her home. Fr. Paul Murtagh SS. CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Manuel Madrid, Jr., Butch Tyler, Manuel Rivera, Jr., David Aguilar, Jeffery Bernard, and Leo Acosta. A vigil service is also planned for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Anthonys. Visitation at Terpening Son Mortuary will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Juarez was born December 31, 1945 in Artesia; the daughter of Bennie Morrison and Jesusita Catano Morrison. A lifelong Artesia resident, she worked at Atoka Grocery and was custodian at the Eddy County Fair. She was a member of the Catholic denomination and attended St. Anthonys Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by two brothers and one sister. Survivors include her ex-husband Manuel Danny Juarez of Artesia; daughters Paula Madrid and husband Manuel of Hobbs, NM, Suzanne Tyler and husband Butch of Alamogordo, NM Lisa Juarez of El Paso, Texas, Jennifer Rivera and husband Manuel of Irving, Texas, Loretta Beckles and husband Darryl of Artesia; 2 sons Danny Boy Juarez and wife Molly of Artesia, and Bennie Juarez and fianc Alexa Moore of Artesia; sisters Tillie Sosa of Carlsbad, N.M., Virginia Pacheco of Yorba Linda, Calif., and Janie Bernard Wesson of Artesia; 18 grandchildren Jenelle, Courtnee, and Audrey Madrid, Derrick and Amber-Rose Reynolds, Desiree Pate, Aaliyah Burns, Cristian Pena, Kassandra, Alex, Manuel, and Miranda Rivera, and Deshanti, Dominic, Darian, Dillon, Danyon, and Janai Juarez.
