Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 19, at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for Minnie Naomi Needham, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Needham, 91, died Thursday, December 15, 2005 in Roswell, New Mexico. Pastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ken Sallee, Don Sallee, Willie Sallee, Tim Dunahoo, Buddy Sallee, and Kenny Fisher. Mrs. Needham was born December 2, 1914 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma; the daughter of Walter U. Sallee and Josie Lee Underwood Sallee. On April 7, 1939 she was married to Harold Douglas Needham in Oklahoma. She came to Artesia in 1939 from Oklahoma. He preceded her in death Dec. 20, 1976. She was a cook for the Lake Arthur Public Schools and was a member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Harold Dean Needham; and by seven brothers and six sisters. Survivors include a son Alan Needham and wife Debbie of Artesia; a daughter Naomi Glynn Fenk of Artesia; grandchildren Melissa Needham, and Heath Needham and wife Joy; and a great-grandson Braeden Needham. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Vista Care Hospice, Trinity Temple Assembly of God or your church in her name.
