Memorial services are scheduled at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 28, at Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints for Mildred Helen Bunce Lindsay Miller, 212 Bullock Avenue, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Miller, 97, died Sunday, September 21, 2003 at Artesia General Hospital in Artesia, New Mexico. Burial has taken place at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville City, Utah. Mrs. Miller was born March 7,1906 in Price, Utah; the daughter of Joseph Delaney Bunce and Emily Marrietta Johnstun Bunce. She was married to Martin Stevenson Lindsay on March 27,1927 in Duchene, Utah. He preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 1967. She came to Artesia in 1950 from Park City, Utah. On October 5,1969 she was married to Steve Miller in Carlsbad, NM. He preceded her in death November 30, 1973. She was a Salesclerk for the Toggery Shop and member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she was a pioneer member of the Artesia Branch. She was an avid dancer with the Senior Citizens Center primarily in Carlsbad, but also in Artesia. Preceded in death by her parents, a son Leland D. Lindsay, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include daughter-in-law Mary Lindsay of Artesia; brother-in-law James Lindsay and wife Ruth of Mountain Home, Utah; grandchildren Stanley Lindsay and wife June of Homa, Louisiana, and Debra Whittington and husband Mark of Tucumcari, NM; great-grandchildren Ginger and Megan of Artesia; great-great-grandchild Alexis; niece Joyce Downey of California
