Mickey Miller

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 14, at Terpening Son Mortuary for Mickey Louise Miller, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Miller, 74, died Sunday, May 9, 2004 in Artesia. Rev. Michael Elliott will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ron Miller, Micah Foster, Kenan Kern, Troy Kern, Eddie Foster, and Sean Urtiga. Mrs. Miller was born August 3, 1929 in Fort Worth, Texas; the daughter of William F. Scott and Lillian Earl Moore Scott. On March 4, 1948 she was married to James Miller in Artesia. They moved to Artesia in 1994 from Santa Maria, California. She was a housewife and member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents; and by one brother. Survivors include her husband James Miller of the family home; a son Ronald Glenn Miller of Bullhead City, Arizona; daughters Lillian Irene Lehman of Artesia, Cynthia Kay Gary of Pratt, Kansas, and Brenda Gale Miller of Artesia; brothers William F. Scott, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, Harold Gary of Clearlake, Texas, and Homer Lee Gary of Albuquerque, N.M.; sisters Betty Jo Boyd of Los Lunas, N.M. and Edith Marie Pritchett of Bandera, Texas; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
